How do I rent an item?

For rental inquiries, please email Bohotropicrentals@gmail.com with your name, event date, and the specific item you wish to rent. This will help us coordinate effectively. We aim to respond within 1-3 business days.

You can find all our rentals in the "Rental" section of our website, where clicking on the image will take you to our gallery. Additionally, some items can be personalized for your special event!

How long can I keep my rental items? And what if I return the items late?

The rental duration is set for up to 48 hours before and after the event date. If you require the rental supplies for a longer period, please reach out to BTR to arrange this in advance. You can contact us at Bohotropicrentals@gmail.com. Late returns will incur additional fees.

How does delivery work?

Our delivery fee is determined by the ZIP Code of your delivery address. This fee helps cover fuel, vehicle maintenance, and the time spent by our staff. Please note that delivery availability may vary based on location and timing. Delivery services are available exclusively for rentals. We will reach out to you with a courtesy call, text, or email when we’re on our way—just provide us with a contact name and number for the day of your event.

After Hours: For delivery or pick-up outside of our regular hours (before 8 AM or after 7 PM), please note that an additional fee of $30.00 will apply.

How do I place an online order?

How is my personalized item going to appear?

Keep in mind that once your order details are confirmed in writing, we won't be able to make further changes. When will my items be ready for pickup or completed?

We are committed to providing you with the best possible service and will work diligently to complete your personalized gifts as quickly as we can. The turnaround time varies based on the specific product and design you choose. At the time of purchase, we will provide you with an estimated completion date. Generally, you can expect an approximate timeframe of 1-2 weeks. However, some orders may be processed faster than others. For an up-to-date estimated delivery date, please feel free to reach out to us via email.

Can my order be picked up?

We are thrilled to be located in the vibrant city of San Diego! Our items can be conveniently picked up in Pacific Beach. The pickup times vary based on the items you choose, so please reach out to us to schedule your pickup or to receive an estimate. We're here to help make your occasion special!

What is needed to place my order?

RENTAL

You will first receive a written proposal, and this will be emailed to you along with our rental terms and agreements. To confirm your order, we require the following:

  • 50% Retainer Fee: This is due upon signing the rental agreement.

  • Security Deposit: Required to ensure our items are returned in the same excellent condition as they were when released. The amount will be determined by Boho Tropic Rentals in your rental agreement based on the total rental costs.

  • Signed Rental Agreement: This document will outline all the terms and conditions.

  • Payment: We accept Venmo, PayPal, or Zelle for your convenience.

Please note that the security deposit and the 50% retainer fee are due at the time of signing the rental agreement. The remaining 50% of the total rental cost must be paid 7 days prior to the event date.

If your initial booking is close to your event date, the entire payment will be due to secure your event. This ensures that we can prepare everything just the way you want it for your special occasion.

SECURITY DEPOSIT

Boho Tropic Rentals reserves the right to require a security deposit for any of our rentals. The deposit will be refunded after the items have been returned and are in our possession. Boho Tropic Rentals retains the right to use all or part of any security deposit provided by the customer to remedy any defaults or to compensate for damages incurred to the rentals.

ONLINE PURCHASE

You can purchase directly on our website. Items are available for local pickup or shipping in the US. Whether you're planning a bachelorette party, a bridal shower, or a birthday celebration, we've got the perfect personalized gifts and stunning decor to make your event unforgettable!

Cancellation Policy

All customers must provide a nonrefundable retainer fee of 50% to secure their order with Boho Tropic Rentals (BTR) for rentals. Should a customer decide to cancel their order at any point after the deposit has been received, the retainer fee will be forfeited, irrespective of the circumstances or reasons behind the cancellation. Refunds for security deposits will only be initiated if BTR has the items returned in their possession.

For adjustments to purchase orders, it is vital to note that these can only be processed if the items have not yet been created, manufactured, or altered. Any changes made will not reduce the total invoice amount below the nonrefundable 50% retainer fee. In the case of larger adjustments, an additional fee may apply, which BTR will determine based on the specifics of the request.

Verifying your order

You, the customer, are responsible for verifying the accuracy of your order. If something is not listed on your order, we will not be providing it or altering it due to the nature of our products. Please make sure every detail is listed directly on the order or verified via email.

Liability and use of equipment

We require a rental agreement contract to be signed for each rental. This document will be sent to you via email alongside your proposal.

Loss and damage

All cleaning fees are included in the price. Please note that this coverage does not extend to losses, theft, or disappearance of equipment due to customer negligence. In the event of broken items, they must be returned in their broken state; otherwise, they will be treated as stolen. Additionally, replacement of lost or damaged items will incur charges in addition to the damage waiver fee. 

Cleaning

You are not required to clean the equipment upon return. If you rent glassware and/or drinkware, we kindly ask that it be returned free of any liquid and food debris. Thank you for your cooperation!

Pricing

The price outlined in your proposal is fixed and will remain unchanged unless alterations are made to the selected item, color, or image. Please note that fees and prices may be subject to fluctuations due to inflation.
